On 4 September 2026, W K To & Co Solicitors hosted a CPD seminar at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, titled “Your Health, Your Rights, Your Say: Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney & Advance Medical Directives (平安三寶)”.

The seminar brought together medical and legal expertise to examine the Three Instruments of Peace at the crossroads of law and medicine.

We were honoured to be joined by Dr. Wilson Fung. Dr. Fung shared his extensive clinical experience in home-based medical care and end-of-life planning, including insights into the newly effective Advance Decision on Life-sustaining Treatment Ordinance (Cap. 651), which came into force on 31 July 2026.

Our Partner Ms. Vivian Wong led the legal discussion, covering the statutory frameworks as well as practical guidance on estate planning, succession, and safeguarding personal autonomy.
