Cindy Chen  and June Wang of our China Practice Group participated in the ECLA’s 11th Annual Meeting & Conference from 21-23 April 2017 in Fuzhou, China.  Nearly 150 lawyers from member firms all across China joined this conference to address and discuss common legal issues faced in PRC ever changing environment.   The conference comprised presentations delivered by leading speakers, a keynote speech, panel discussions and case studies, as well as social networking events.  This conference offered a unique opportunity for our team to meet and exchange thoughts with distinguished experts and network with other PRC lawyers of similar interests and fields of practice within the PRC and Asia Pacific regions.    Facing the challenges and opportunities ( for example Belt & Road initiatives) of a new era, both PRC and Hong Kong lawyers would foster even closer cooperative times by complementing each other.

Elite Chinese Legal Alliance (ECLA), one of the largest cross-region cooperation platforms for legal services in China. Currently ECLA has more than 30 member firms located in the major cities of mainland China, Hong Kong (W.K. To & Co. is the only member firm in Hong Kong) and Korea, with a total of more than 3,000 lawyers. ECLA is now in the process of globalization, aiming to develop into a global legal service provider to provide professional cross-border legal services to clients.
