Our lawyers including Vincent To (Senior Partner), Vivian Wong (Partner) and Ronald To ( Associate), participated in the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) 26th Annual Meeting and Conference which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 13-16 April 2016.
In its 26th year, the IPBA brought together over 800 business and commercial lawyers from over 65 jurisdictions across Southeast Asian countries and beyond. The theme this year was “Diverse Challenges, Global Solutions”, focusing on the international flavor and global nature of business transactions. This conference offered a unique opportunity for our lawyers to meet and exchange thoughts with distinguished experts and network with other lawyers of similar interests and fields of practice within the inter-pacific regions.
The IPBA is an international association of business and commercial lawyers who live in, or otherwise have a strong interest in, the Asia-Pacific Region. It was established in 1991 at an organizing conference held in Tokyo attended by more than 500 lawyers from countries within the Asia-Pacific Region. Since then, it has grown to become the pre-eminent legal association in the region, with membership drawn from throughout the world, and currently has over 1,400 members from over 65 jurisdictions worldwide.
