On 15 July 2021, W. K. To & Co.'s Commercial Litigation partners Kenny Chun and Ronald To delivered a webinar on "Use it or lose it? What you need to know about adverse possession in Hong Kong". Over 80 participants from major developers, leading banks, corporate service providers and professional firms attended the event.

Ronald illustrated the nature of the possessory title acquired by squatter as well as basic principles of adverse possession by referring to the Limitation Ordinance and cases decided by Courts. Kenny then discussed important cases concerning the adverse possession of the Lee Theatre, residential units, common parts of multi-storey buildings and other issues arising from an adverse possession claim.

The speakers and the participants also had a lively Q&A session exploring various scenarios of adverse possession. Participants found the webinar engaging and informative.
