More than 20 volunteers from W. K. To & Co. took a group of 30 underprivileged children from Po Leung Kuk's Blue Sky Food Assistance Service Project to the Peak for a summer excursion on 22 July 2017 (Sat).
Following an exciting ride on the Peak tram, the children and volunteers from W. K. To & Co. visited the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong where they could see and take photos with over a hundred lifelike wax figures of celebrities and animation characters. Our lawyers also led the children in groups to participate in "Checkpoint Challenge" with an aim to visit the must-go landmarks on the Peak. In the finale, we all enjoyed hamburgers, fries and ice cream for lunch together. The excursion was filled with fun and laughter, both the kids and adults enjoyed the day thoroughly!
W. K. To & Co. has been partnering with Po Leung Kuk, one of the largest local charitable organizations, for multiple CSR initiatives and this Peak activity is also part of the firm's commitment. We always cherish the opportunity to get to know the PLK beneficiaries and have long recognized the importance of giving back to the local community.
