Vivian is a Partner of our Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Department. She has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, especially in handling cross-border disputes and cases involving commercial fraud, as well as her matrimonial practice. She also specializes in a wide spectrum of cases including disputes among shareholders, directors or business partners as well as trademark infringement disputes and employment disputes. Vivian is a regular speaker delivering legal training for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

- Representing a worldwide registered patent holder for a new drug of estimated future revenue of about US$1.2 billion in the disputes in the interests of the patent and successfully defending the claim for client
- Representing a leading industrial and medical gas supplier in Hong Kong to sue for conversion of its properties and infringement of its trademarks and successfully obtained injunction and judgment
- Representing a leading manufacturer and supplier of Sodium Cyanide in Anhui, PRC, to claim for damages for breach of contract for US$2 million and to defend the Counterclaim for over US$1.35 million. Successfully assisted client in reaching an amicable settlement through mediation
- Representing one of the vendors to an agreement for transfer of shares of a limited Hong Kong company (which owned a land development project in Beijing) for consideration of around RMB 85 million for recovery of balance of considerations in the Arbitration in the HKIAC
- Advising a state-owned enterprise in the PRC to successfully defend a claim by an Australian company in the Arbitration in HKIAC for a sum of US$45 million for breach of contract
